Abstract
In order to improve water ecology in mining area and protect water resources, this paper used sandy soil as repair materials of acid abandoned mine water to study that with different particle sizes of soil sample, the removal efficiency of sulfate ion in abandoned mine water,as well as the change of pH,Ehand EC.The results show that the soil whose particle size is less than 0.075 mm has the highest removal efficiency to SO42- and the maximum removal efficiency is 62.36%,which adjust the pH significantly, and make that Eh and EC decrease significantly. For the soil samples whose particle sizes are from 0.075 mm to 0.500 mm,from 0.500 mm to 2.000 mm and from 2.000 mm to 5.000 mm,the removal efficiency to SO42- is less than 10.00%,the regulation of pH is inconspicuous, and they have little influence on Eh and EC.
