Study of Measuring Method for Nonlinear Seepage Parameters of Gassy Coal

  • To counter the problem of synchronous measurement of gas absorption amount of coal samples and key parameters of nonlinear seepage in case of the constraint ring strain condition, cylindrical coal samples were taken as the specimens and the mass flow-meter installed at the gas inlet end and outlet end was used to determine the gas content of specimens, and the gas absorption amount was obtained by calculation; based on the seepage test results of helium and gas, the nonlinear seepage parameters of gassy coal were got. The principle, experimental equipment and procedures of this method were emphatically described, and relative tests were made with this method and equipment. Research results showed that this method and equipment could be simultaneously used to measure the gas absorption amount and nonlinear flow parameters of coal samples, and the experimental effect was better.
