Discussion on Oil-type Gas Emission Mechanism from Heading Face Floorin Coal-oil-gas Coexisting Mine

  • Aiming at the problem of the oil-type gas emission from the heading face floor in the coal-oil-gas coexisting mine, the oil-type gas emission mechanism from the heading face floor was discussed in this paper through the field follow-up observation, numerical simulation and theoretical analysis. The field observation results showed that the oil-type gas emission from the heading face floor was mainly affected by the reservoir distribution of oil-type gas, the roadway excavation and the floor heave fractures. The numerical simulation results showed that the roadway excavation led to the change of the strata stress and strain, which then caused the deformation and damage of floor strata and the generation of fractures. It was concluded from the comprehensive analysis that the oil-type gas emission from the heading face floor was resulted from the reservoir distribution of oil-type gas, the roadway excavation disturbance, the strata stress, the oil-type gas pressure and so on, of which the reservoir distribution of the oil-type gas was the material precondition, the roadway excavation was the induction factor, the strata stress created the gas migration channels, and the oil-type gas pressure provided the power.
