Degradation of Coal and Adsorption of Methane by Methanotrophs in Simulated Row Coal Occurrence Environment

  • Aiming at the problem of how to get rid of gas hosting cleanly, an experimental analysis system for degradation of coal and adsorption of methane by methanotrophs in simulated row coal occurrence environment has been developed. A type of facultative anaerobic methanotrophs was selected by the experiment. Three variables were designed by single factor variable method. The effects of temperature, injection pressure and volume on the degradation efficiency of the methanotrophs were investigated. The results showed that when the temperature was 30 ℃, the injection pressure was 2 MPa and the injection volume was 20 mL, the degradation rate of methane was up to 34.2%; when the temperature was 30 ℃ and the injection volume was 20 mL, the degradation rate of methane increased with the increase of the injection pressure, the rate was up to 45.6%; when the temperature was 30 ℃, the injection pressure was 2 MPa, the degradation rate of methane increased with the increase of the injection volume, the rate was up to 54.6%.
