Application and Effect of Hydraulic Fracturing Technology in Low Permeability Outburst Coal Seam in Chengzhuang Coal Mine

  • In order to overcome the difficulty in gas extraction in the mining process of the coal seam with high gas content and low permeability in Chengzhuang Coal Mine, the field test of hydraulic fracturing was carried out in this mine, and the layout of boreholes was optimized. The influence range and effect of hydraulic fracturing were quantitatively analyzed. The results show that after adopting hydraulic fracturing technology, the permeability coefficient of coal seam has been increased by 26.3 times, and the gas pressure in coal seam has been reduced by 53.5%, the potential danger of coal and gas outburst was eliminated, meanwhile, the pure flow rate and concentration of gas extraction have been greatly increased. By optimizing the drilling arrangement, the gas control cost of Chengzhuang Coal Mine is effectively reduced.
