Abstract
Gas control in soft and low permeability coal seam has encountered technical bottlenecks. It is a solution to improve the effect of underground gas drainage by taking advantage of ground fracturing to enhance the permeability of coal seam. In order to explore the influence of ground fracturing on underground gas drainage, the influence range of fracture expansion was predicted based on ground microseismic monitoring, the parameters such as gas content, gas emission, permeability of coal seam, drainage effect, index of outburst prevention and tunneling speed were investigated. The results show that the range of fracture expansion is approximately ellipse with the main fracture as the long axis, and the effect of ground fracturing on underground drainage is timeliness, the shorter the lag time of underground drainage behind ground fracturing, the more obvious the promoting effect of fracturing on drainage.
