Research Progress on the Cascade Utilization Technology of Low Concentration CBM in Coal Mine Area

The present situation and existing problems of the extraction and utilization of coalbed methane(CBM) in China were summarized in this paper; according to the different concentration of gas extraction, the development of mainstream utilization technology of low concentration CBM at all levels was introduced, including CBM power generation, regenerative oxidation and physical extraction enrichment. This paper also pointed out the key technical problems and solutions that need to be solved urgently; it analyzed and emphasized the importance of the development of low concentration CBM utilization technology, look ahead to its industrial prospects.
