Influence Experiment and Simulation Study of N2 on the Maximum Explosion Pressure of CH4 in the Limited Space

Abstract
A single component N2 was selected in order to study the effect of N2 on the maximum explosion pressure of CH4,according to the chemical kinetics principle of CH4 combustion,the effect of N2 on the maximum explosive pressure of CH4 was studied by using 20 L spherical constant volume bomb,a numerical simulation of the mixed gas explosion was carried out by using CHEMKIN simulation soft ware that under the same working conditions,the experimental data were compared with the numerical simulation data and the results showed that near the concentration of the CH4 explosion,the detonation time increases with the increase of CH4 concentration; the maximum explosive pressure decreases with the increase of CH4 concentration near the upper limit of methane explosion,the maximum explosive pressure increases with the increase of CH4 concentration near the lower limit of methane explosion; the experimental data and simulation data of the maximum explosion have similar change trend, but the numerical deviation is large,and the reason for it was analyzed.
