Application of Regional Outburst Prevention Technology of Gas Pre-extraction by Long Borehole along Coal Seam in Huoshaopu Coal Mine

  • In view of the problems such as the poor gas extraction effect and long extraction time exist in No. 3 coal seam in Guizhou Huoshaopu Coal Mine,combined with the previous experience of gas control technology, the regional outburst prevention of gas pre-extraction by long borehole along coal seam in 2632 first mining face of Huoshaopu Coal Mine was implemented. This paper introduced the design and construction of bedding long borehole, as well as the sealing technology. The research results show that since the regional outburst prevention measures of gas pre-extraction by long boreholes along coal seam is taken,the concentration and purity of gas drainage by long borehole in the working face have been increased by more than 1 times, both the residual gas content in coal seam and K1 value, which is index of the drilling cuttings gas desorption are less than the specified critical index value. It also saves the production cost and realizes safe and efficient mining in the working face.
