Research Status and Development Direction of Gas-containing Coal Seepage Model

  • The study of gas-containing coal seepage model is the theoritical basis for sicientificly drawing up the mine gas drainage operation plan and the coal-bed methane exploitation and deployment scheme.In this paper, the research results on the gas-containing coal seepage model were systematically sorted out and the applicability of the relevant theory was analyzed in detail. Based on the current development trend of China’s coal industry, the research and development direction of the gas-containing coal seepage model was pointed out that: ① the study on the gas diffusion model having the “adsorption and desorption hysteresis phenomenon” should be taken into consideration; ② study should be made on the microscopic mechanism between the key parameters of the coal pore, the fracture structure and the nonlinear seepage model; ③ study should be made on the gas-containing coal seepage model based on the influence of the nonlinear seepage-diffusion and the multi-physical field coupling.
