Analysis of Power Support Jammed and Roof Falling at Remove Stage inFully Mechanized Working Face with Height of 7.0 m

  • In view of the frequent occurrence of powered support jammed and roof falling accidents at remove stage in fully mechanized working face with height of 7.0 m in Daliuta Coal Mine,a model was established based on FLAC3D numerical simulation software,to simulate and contrast vertical stress distribution in 52304 working face at remove stage with adjustment gateway or without it; the method of field test and theoretical analysis was adopted to analyze the mechanism of the roof of fully mechanized working face. The results showed that the layout of adjustment gateway can cause stress concentration on two sides of the gateway,it is easy to cause accidents of power support jammed and roof falling. The prevention and control of powered support jammed and roof falling at the working face was proposed, and the validity and reliability of it was verified in subsequent mining process.
