A strategy and experimental study for on-demand control airflow with multiple main fans operating jointly and efficiently

  • To address the challenges of low ventilation efficiency, high energy consumption, and mismatched supply and demand arising from the joint operation of multiple main fans in coal mines,we analyzed the mutual disturbance effects among the fans. A coordinated airflow regulation strategy tailored to complex mine ventilation networks was proposed. The analysis indicated that the airflow in branche8,associated with fan F1,and branche13,associated with fan F2,should be reduced by 0. 05 m3/ s and 0. 10 m3/ s,respectively. Experiments were conducted using a complex ventilation network experimental platform to coordinate the regulation of fans and ventilation adjustment facilities. The results demonstrated a maximum relative error of only 5. 25% between experimental and calculated values, with regulation accuracy exceeding 85%. These findings validate the feasibility of the intelligent,demand-based coordinated airflow regulation strategy within complex network environments.
