Analysis of synergistic effect of dual airborne dust collectors on airflow dust purification in fully mechanized mining face

  • Taking 122109 fully mechanized mining face in Caojiatan Coal Mine of Shaanxi Coal Mine as the engineering background, the original airflow-dust migration distribution in 122109 fully mechanized mining face was analyzed by using Fluent numerical simulation software. Based on the analysis results, a collaborative dust removal technology of dual dust collectors on the face of the coal winning machine was innovatively put forward. The improvement effect of dust pollution of using this technology was simulated and analyzed for the position of the height of breathing zone in pedestrian area in working face and fully mechanized mining face and the space above the fuselage on the side of the coal wall. The results show that under the synergistic effect of dual airborne dust collectors, the dust clouds with high concentration in the fully mechanized mining face are obviously reduced, and the phenomenon that coal cutting dust of coal winning machine spreads to pedestrian area is obviously weakened. The maximum dust removal efficiency is 98.80% at the height of the breathing zone on the side of the pedestrian, and 51.20% near the upper drum of the coal winning machine. Through the field application, it is found that the maximum dust removal efficiency of the dual airborne dust collectors in the working face is 93.94%, which effectively solves the problem of coal dust diffusion pollution in the pedestrian space of coal cutting dust of the coal winning machine in fully mechanized mining face, and significantly improves the working environment of the operators.
