Abstract
In order to study the effect of mine transient electromagnetic method in detecting the water abundance of Jurassic low-resistivity rock strata in working face roof of Maiduoshan Coal Mine, a full-space three-dimensional geological model of local water-rich strata with low resistance in the working face roof was established. Its electromagnetic response characteristics were analyzed and summarized. Combined with the engineering application of mine transient electromagnetic method detecting water abundance of roof strata in Maiduoshan Coal Mine, the detection results were analyzed and interpreted according to the known hydrogeological data. The accuracy of the delineated relatively low-resistivity anomaly range was well verified by the later exploration and drainage boreholes. The research shows that the mine transient electromagnetic method can realize the accurate exploration of the water-rich area in the Jurassic low-resistivity strata of the roof of the coal mining face, and can provide safe geological guarantee for the mining of the working face threatened by water damage on the roof with similar electrical characteristics.
