Abstract
Aiming at the problem of frequent cracking of the welds of the concrete mixing cylinder used for mine support, this paper adopts the method of finite element analysis, starting from the angle of the weld form, establishes the finite element model for flat and groove welds, calculates the stress and strain of flat weld and groove weld drum by adding simulated working load.Comparing the results of the residual stress and strain of the welds of the two welding modes, it is found that the stress value at each weld of the drum adopting the flat welding method is smaller than that of the groove welding method.According to the result of simulation, the welding form of drum is improved.The field application results show that the mixing drum adopts the flat welding form, which can solve the problem of frequent weld cracking of the drum and effectively improve the service life of the welding parts of the mixer.
