Abstract
In view of the problem that the capacity of nickel hydride battery unit allowed to be used in the explosion-proof chamber is small, and the standby explosion-proof power supply in underground coal mine cannot meet the long-term power supply, the group management of nickel hydride battery and the charge and discharge management of two groups of batteries in the same explosion-proof chamber were adopted to improve the reserve battery capacity. The safety management requirements of nickel hydride battery group in the explosion-proof chamber, as well as the influence of multi-node series of single nickel hydride battery on front and rear circuit were analyzed.The design idea and management method of realizing long time backup for the group configuration of nickel hydride battery were put forward. The experiment shows that the group configuration of nickel hydride battery can realize the reliable management of nickel hydride battery group, it can solve the problem of standby power supply for a long time, and the circuit is simple and flexible.
