Study on safety evaluation of internal-caused fire in mine—based on entropy method and catastrophe theory

  • For the characteristics of sudden occurrence, uncertainty and high harmfulness of internal-caused fire in mine, a method for safety evaluation of internal-caused fire in mine by combining entropy method and catastrophe theory was proposed. A fire safety evaluation index system with 20 evaluation indexes of 4 levels was established by selecting four factors including human, material, environment and management. The entropy method was used to judge the relative weight of each index, and the mutation level method was used to calculate the value of mutation level, which avoided the disadvantage of subjective and artificial weighting of the single entropy method. Taking Hongshiyan Coal Mine in Shaanxi province as an example, the safety evaluation for internal-caused fire was carried out with this evaluation method, the results were basically consistent with the safety status of the mine, and the feasibility and practicability of the evaluation method were verified.
