Synergy effect on dust reduction performance by coupling atomization with magnetized compound surfactant and pressure-air atomizing nozzle

  • In order to improve the performance of atomization and dust reduction and realize effective prevention and control of coal dust hazards, the experimental study on solution surface tension and atomization efficiency was carried out based on the coupling mechanism of magnetized compound surfactant and pressure-air atomizing nozzle. By testing anionic and nonionic surfactant solutions, it was found that the surface tension tended to be stable when the mass fraction of the solution reached 0.06%; then the optimization experiment of the combination of anionic surfactant and nonionic surfactant was carried out, the surface tension was minimized when the mass ratio of SDS to FMEE was 6∶4, meanwhile, the optimal solution mass fraction was reduced from 0.06% to 0.03%; the magnetization test was carried out on the basis of the compound surfactant, and the optimum magnetic induction strength was 400 mT; the coupling synergistic atomization effect was achieved by combining the magnetized surfactant and pressure-air atomization nozzle, the coupling synergistic atomization effect was up to 74.8%, which was 49.3% higher than that of water.
