Abstract:
The methane concentration in the mine ventilation air was very low, which caused it can't be used directly, and a huge amount of ventilation air methane(VAM) exhausted into atmosphere and caused a significant greenhouse effect, which made the coal mining enterprises being under huge pressure of emission reduction. In this paper, the main methods for VAM utilization were analyzed and the main utilization ways after it was concentrated were proposed. The technological means for VAM concentration were classified, and it was believed that the adsorption separation technology was a more promising one. Analysis and discussion were carried out on the research status, technical objectives and implementation situation of VAM concentration technology at home and abroad, and its application prospect and new research direction were looked forward.
