Abstract:
Through the description about the distribution characteristics of coal-bed methane (CBM) in coal-producing areas in our country and the introduction about the cryogenic liquefaction process of using the low-concentration oxygen-containing coal-bed methane for producing the liquefied natural gas (LNG) and combined with the practical engineering experience, in this paper, analysis was carried out on the key factors affecting the CBM liquefaction project site selection. It was emphasized that the effective safety distance was the precondition of liquefaction project site selection, the reliable gas source supply was the key to determine the final site, and the reasonable investment cost control was the target of site selection. To deeply explore the related factors can avoid the investment losses and the forced change of the construction site caused by improper site selection, thus provided basis for the best site selection scheme and certain reference for the site selection of other low-concentration coal-bed gas liquefaction projects.
