Abstract:
The wall roughness of the excavation roadway has great influence on the initial section and the main section of the restricted wall-attached turbulent jet.In this paper,analysis was carried out on the the characteristics of the attached turbulent jet movement and its influence on the air flow field in the excavation roadway under the conditions of differnt thickness of toughness and uneven roughness of the roadway wall according to the restricted wall-attached jet theory and by numerical simulation with FLUENT software.The results showed that the thickness of toughness of the roadway wall had smaller influence on the initial section of the restricted wall-attached turbulent jet and greater influence on its main section,and with the increase of the thickness of toughness,the axial velocity of the main section quickly decreased and the thickness of the low speed region increased,the vortex area was easily formed in the recirculation zone;with the increase of the nonuniformity of the roughness,the vortex area in the roadway increased.The numerical simulation results are consistent with the theoretical results,which provided theoretical basis for studying the airflow transfer process and the dust and gas migration rule in the excavation roadway.
