Abstract:
To address technical challenges in Jurassic weakly cemented water-rich soft rock mines in western China, including water-rock coupling deterioration,water-sand inrush, asymmetric large deformation of roadways, unclear mechanisms of mining-induced disturbance response, and poor adaptability of coal pillar parameters—problems that cannot be fundamentally solved by support technology alone—this study takes the No. 114153 fully mechanized mining face in the Shanghaimiao Mining Area of Inner Mongolia as the engineering background and conducts full-cycle research on disaster prevention and control and parameter optimization. Adhering to the principle of “major water hazard prevention and control, minor water management, enhanced support, and coordinated governance”,a full-area water drainage technology with a double-layer bidirectional fan-shaped borehole layout is adopted, combined with a full-section combined support system of “bolt-mesh-cable-shotcrete + inverted arch”. Using full-section displacement monitoring of mining roadways and fixed-point in-situ measurements of deep surrounding rock stress, this study systematically investigates the temporal evolution of deformation, asymmetric mining-induced response, and stress zoning patterns in water-rich soft rock roadways;quantifies the influence range of mining-induced dynamic pressure;and optimizes section coal pillar parameters. The results show that the cumulative volume of drained roof sandstone water from the working face reached 399 545 m
3,thereby cutting off the water-induced deterioration chain of soft rock at the source and eliminating the risk of water-sand inrush. Under mining-induced dynamic pressure disturbance, the comprehensive convergence rates of the solid coal roadway and the goaf-side roadway were 7% and 12%, respectively, indicating that the surrounding rock deformation remained controllable. The average advance influence distance of mining-induced dynamic pressure reached 255. 6 m,which is much larger than that in hard rock mining areas in eastern China. Laterally, the zone 0 m-28 m from the roadway is a stable pressure-relief zone, while the zone beyond 28 m is a stress concentration zone. Considering both surrounding rock stability and resource recovery benefits, the optimal retained width of section coal pillars for the working face is determined to be 12 m,and the width of protective coal pillars for the main roadway should be no less than 200 m.
