Abstract:
In view of the problem of dust prevention and control in fully mechanized excavation face, a door-type air curtain dust control and removal system was proposed, which combined air curtain dust control with pressure extraction mixed ventilation and dust removal. Through theoretical analysis and calculation, the functional relationship between air curtain parameters was determined. According to the actual conditions of 2410 fully mechanized excavation face in Yuhua Coal Mine, a geometric model was established. Fluent software was used to simulate and analyze the air flow field and dust field of the door-type air curtain dust control and removal system, and the comparison and analysis were made with the field measured data. The research results show that: the door-type air curtain can effectively control the dust within 5 m from the working face, at the same time, the dust-containing air flow can be extracted and filtered by the dust removal fan, and the dust mass concentration behind the air curtain is significantly reduced, the average mass concentration of dust in the respiratory zone decreased to 32.67 mg/m
3. Compared with the original pressure extraction mixed ventilation dust removal, the dust mass concentration is reduced by 86%, which significantly improves the dust removal effect and significantly improves the environment of working face.
